Well, it is here...the first day of school. India was up early, smile on her face, getting dressed, doing her hair and nails, excited for this new day and this year. Curtis on the other hand stayed under his covers, hiding from the day, not wanting to go to school or experience the new things that await him. New experiences are hard for Curt. But through talking, understanding, helpful suggestions and lots of love, he finally got out from under cover and made it to his class. They both have awesome teachers and Curtis has a class full of friends including his best bud, so it can't help but be a good day and a great year.

Kari, things do change and funny enough it was the same with India. In Kindergarten my kids don't wear coats to the point of complete revolt. First grade they do. Go figure. They had a great day.
1st Day of school is always fun. Yea, at least you can get your kids to wear pants! Great 1st day pic!
Oh I can't get Curt to wear shorts to school, even in 90 degree weather. So there you go... children!
